How do I care for my plates?

 

Do IVORY HOMESTEAD products contain any harmful chemicals?

No.  None of the materials used in the molding or decoration of your Deco-Plate products contain harmful chemicals.  Our products are FDA-approved for food contact, and the inks we use to decorate them are water-based and safe.

How do you put the images on products ?

Our decorating processes utilize the latest in digital printing and imaging technology, using processes that are trade secrets.  Our printing processes have been designed to deliver the highest level of color accuracy.  Small imperfections reflect the hand-made and unique nature of our process.

 

When you say 'Made in America' - how much of your product is really is 'Made in America'?

Were glad you asked.  To us, 'Made in America' means exactly that - no games - no slight of hand:

      All of the materials used in our products (plastic resin, ink, etc.) are manufactured here in the U.S.A.

     The resin is molded into finished dinnerware products here in the U.S.A.

      The final decorating, packing and shipping is all done at our facility in Northbrook, Illinois.

  No Offshoring - No Outsourcing - 100% U.S.A. components and labor. 

Can I upload my own design, or make a special request?

Our Online Designer is very easy to use - and with a little trial and error, you should be able to design exactly the product you want.  If you really get stumped, email our Customer Service team with your name and phone number.  They will call you to help you through the process.

What should I do if my plates break during shipping?

A broken plate is a rare occurence, but they do happen.  Should you receive a product that is broken in shipment, contact our Customer Service team at hello@ivoryhoemstead.com for instruction on how to get a replacement.
